I got into canning a few years ago and it has saved my family a ton of money and the best part is we get to eat fresh in seasoned vegetables and fruits year round.
Tomatoes are a big one in our home as we love pasta sauces etc.
You will need: large canning kettle or stockpot, mall, round rack, 6 quart jars, sterilized
box of new lids and rings.
